Euromonitor, a market research company has predicted that in Australia, total alcoholic drinks volume is up 0.2 per cent in 2014, representing 2.8 billion litres of alcohol.
Some of the other findings include:
- People around the world are also switching to brown spirits rather than white spirits.
- In the world of beer, craft beer’s consumption is growing globally.
- Euromonitor thinks the alcoholic drinks industry will reach 276 billion litres by 2019.
