Good news for the hospitality industry in Brisbane, night time assaults in the area are significantly down according to statistics by The Queensland Police Service’s annual statistics.
Brisbane has the lowest assault rates in the state for the last financial year. There was a 4 per cent decrease in the number of assaults that occurred in the state’s capital.
All 3 of Brisbane’s Safe Nights Precincts experienced a decrease in assaults – good news for hospitality businesses as well as patrons who can now enjoy more safety on a night out.
