Police have warned drivers to be prepared for road blitzes over the coming months as we approach Christmas where they will be looking for drink and drug driving, not wearing seatbelts, fatigued driving and speeding. This comes after a 37 year driver was pulled over last week end and found to be driving 7 times over the legal limit.
When police issued the woman with a breathalyser test she blew a 0.359. reading.
Her license was confiscated and she will have to appear in court next month.
