Treasury Wine Estates are one of the largest winemakers in the world and will now be the first to put the calorie content of their wines on the bottle’s label, well sort of.
As we all become more conscious of what we put into our bodies and the amount of calories we’re taking in every day, more and more companies are putting calorie content on labels. TWE is following suit.
The calorie information will be available online with a dedicated web address printed on every wine label which directs consumers to this information.
The winemakers will rollout their plan in Europe first and then America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
