Yes, they are girlie. Yes, they are sweet, but strawberry drinks are great sellers for bachelorette parties and girl’s nights out. When you see a group of ladies walk in the door, try breaking out a few of these recipes. Keep in mind that the difference between Strawberry Patch and Strawberry Schnapps is that Schnapps is sweet and sour, Strawberry Patch is sweet.
Strawberry Shortcakes Shots
Ingredients:
1 part Vodka
1 part Strawberry Schnapps
1 part Vanilla vodka
whipped cream (optional)
Layer all three in equal parts, in a shooter glass, (optional) top with whipped cream
Strawberry Milkshake
Ingredients:
1 scoop ice
1 shot Strawberry Cream Liqueur
1 shot Strawberry Schnapps
1 shot Vanilla Rum (or rum with a dash of vanilla essence)
1 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream
4 fresh strawberries
whipped cream (optional)
Blend all liqueurs, ice and 3 strawberries. Serve in a tall glass topped with (optional) whipped cream, garnished with strawberry slice.
Strawberry Pie Shot
Ingredients:
1 part Butter Shots
1 part Strawberry Schnapps
1 part Vanilla vodka
Combine all ingredients in shot glass
Strawberry Peach Margarita
Ingredients:
½ scoop ice
1 shot tequila
1 shot Peachtree schnapps
1 shot Strawberry Patch
splash of sweet and sour
4 fresh strawberries
Blend all ingredients minus 1 strawberry. Serve in margarita glass, rimmed with sugar and garnished with whole strawberry, sliced from the bottom about halfway up and an umbrella skewer.
Strawberry Punch
Ingredients:
1 shot vodka
1 shot Strawberry Schnapps
1 shot triple sec
2 oz cranberry juice
1 oz pineapple juice
splash of sweet and sour
Combine all ingredients in a tall glass over ice. Garnish with lemon wheel and maraschino cherry.
