Alcohol Laws Worry Hospitality Staff

As of 1 July 2016 new alcohol laws come into effect in Queensland and staff at pubs and nighclubs are worried at the impact this may have on their safety.

According to reports, staff are worried that their safety may be put at risk by angry patrons when they come into effect next week.

When the laws take effect, last drinks will be called in  all the state’s nightclub precincts at 3am. After 3am no alcoholic  beverages will be sold.

After midnight no shots, shooters and high strength premixed drinks will be sold.
