If distilling your own alcohol is something that you’ve always dreamed of, now’s your chance to make that dream come true.

If you’re in Melbourne make your way down to the Australian Drinks Festival where under the guidance of Master Distiller William McHenry, you can create and distil your own gin recipe at a mini lab.

You’ll get to take home 2x 200ml bottles of your creation and can even forage for your own ingredients to bring to the event.

The event was also held last year and proved very successful, so organisers warn that tickets are limited this year at $125 each.

Each session is 45 minutes long and bookings are essential.
