This new year’s eve is going to be the hottest we’ve seen in 5 years and authorities are warning revellers to celebrate responsibly.

Police have issued a warning to revellers to be responsible when drinking and to drink alot of water as temperatures are expected to soar.

They have also warned that anyone who gets out of control will be locked up in a cell.

Ballarat police have reminded party-goers to plan their transport home ahead of time and avoid drink driving. Also be responsible for your friends and respect other party goers.
