Don’t engage in irresponsible drinking promotions, that is the message from the The NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR).
Venues that are responsible for reckless alcohol promotions are the target of the OLGR, having investigated 101 cases in 2014 and 2015.
Of those cases 44 cases resulted in formal bans or restrictions. Some of the reckless promotions included serving cocktails in milk bottles, plastic bags and giant martini glasses.
