As gin makes a comeback and Japanese spirits continue to grow in popularity around Australia, Beam Suntory has released it’s Japanese craft gin, Roku.
Roku is available at selected retailers and venues around Australia.
Roku in Japanese means six and this theme is what the drink is based on. The bottle is six sided (hexagonal shaped) and the drink contains 6 Japanese botanicals, distilled individually and then blended together with other traditional gin botanicals.
The ingredients include the Japanese botanicals Sakura flower, sakura leaf, yuzu peel, sencha tea, gyokuro tea and sansho pepper which are blended with traditional gin botanicals including juniper berry, coriander seeds and orange peel.
