The World Whiskies Award was recently organised by Whisky Magazine and this year had a record number of entries.
The overall winner which was released in September was the peated Old Pulteney 1989 vintage which has a smoky flavour after being aged in American oak, ex-bourbon barrels.
The brand says the world’s single malt is popular among whisky enthusiasts and Old Pulteney devotees.
The Old Pulteney 1989 Vintage has been described as natural in colour, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46 per cent.
