Medical professionals have said that since the lockout laws were introduced in the Sydney CBD, alcohol related injuries are down by almost 25 per cent.
Doctors at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst say Sydney’s lockout laws have led to a significant decrease in the most life-threatening alcohol-related injuries and they also say claims that alcohol violence has relocated to other parts of the city are untrue.
