Alcohol Labels a Failure

Are alcohol warning labels effective in detering excessive and problem drinking? According to a recent study by Deakin University researchers, no they aren’t.

According to statistics, alcohol warnings on bottles are failing to convey health messages effectively to drinkers.

Part of the problem is that the label is being obscurely placed and is taking a very small part of the label , around 5 per  cent, not significant enough to be noticed.
